Students at a Williamsburg, VA school took the initiative to raise funds to help Save the Whales. What began as the idea of two sisters who just wanted to help inspired many other students to help raise funds too.

Last month, 78 students sold enough pizza and cookie dough to raise more than $12,000 for Save the Whales, a nonprofit organization that aims to educate children and adults about marine mammals, their environment and their preservation. What’s more, they did it in just one week.
