About: Abigail Beal
Abigail Beal is a freelance writer and has a passion for fund-raising and not-for-profit work. At eight she created her first fund-raiser with several friends to benefit the North Shore Animal League (it raised sixty dollars). She has been a fund-raiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has also coordinated volunteers for an eldercare facility in her community. Abigail has a certificate in Fund-raising and Development for Not-for-Profit Organizations from Marymount College at Fordham University and she has taken classes at The Foundation Center.
